Track Car Rental FAQ

Q: Am I responsible for vehicle or track damage?

Yes, you the vehicle renter are responsible for full compensation for any damages to vehicles or race track property during your rental period. Hinz Motorsport LLC will not be held liable for any damages to vehicles or track property. Physical Damage protection is included, it is coverage for you and the car. However, you are responsible for the physical damage deductible, which is 5% or 10% of any damages incurred during the duration of your rental. Liability insurance is not included but is also available through, which we can facilitate. 

Q: Do I have to sign a Liability Waiver?

Yes, you will be required to sign a liability waiver during the morning check-in process

Q: What is the Cancellation Policy?

Date Changes:

Participant can change their date to another assuming the new date is available with at least 30 days advance notice, subject to the following fees:

  • First change: No Fee
  • Second change: 5% of the Booking Fee
  • Three or more changes: 10% of the booking fee

Participant may cancel their rental, subject to the following fees:

  • At Least 30 days advance Notice
  • 14-29 days advance notice: 15% of the booking fee
  • Less than 14 days advance notice: 100% of the booking fee

Q: What happens if the event is rained out?

Events are run rain or shine. We will swap to an appropriate street tire if the track is wet. However, if the weather is deemed unsafe by the track organizers, we will either postpone your experience until conditions improve or we will reschedule your experience for another date in the future.

Q: What should I wear?

Most (if not all) organizers require closed-toed shoes, long sleeve shirts, and pants. 

Q: Do I need to bring my own helmet?

We strongly recommend bringing your own helmet as fit is important. If you need a helmet let us know your size and we will try source one. Helmets must be Snell 2015 approved or newer.
