Audi 8S (TT, TTS, TTRS) 8V (A3, S3, RS3) Camber Caster Plates

We are pleased to announce that we now carry Ground Control Suspension Products for Audi and VW platforms. These camber plates were co-developed with Ground Control and have been tested and proven on street cars under some of the most grueling conditions such as on our 2017 Audi RS3 as featured here in One Lap of America.

The Ground Control STREET/SPORT plate, a special version of our camber/caster plates, is toned down for dual-purpose cars. These plates use a proprietary upper spring perch. An oversize American central bearing to reduce flex, and a waterproof German steering bearing make smooth steering and unlike stock or poly bushed alternatives make this camber plate fully rebuildable.

A work of art, carved from a single piece of billet aluminum. That is the only way to describe this new street camber plate from Ground Control.

The plate slides to allow camber and caster adjustment, as well as access to adjustable struts! It fits entirely within stock sheet metal with no cutting or trimming. They are available in multiple configurations and depending on the options chosen allow for over 3 degrees of camber*. with NO CHANGE in ride height or NO LOSS OF SUSPENSION TRAVEL.

Configuration options include 2.25", 2.50", 60mm or Stock springs, low profile dome or standard dome plates, and a Poly spring bushing.

*Subframe and chassis variations affect total camber gain

Not much better than version 1

I purchased the second version of these top mounts in hopes of getting more negative camber versus the previous version.

The back to back difference was between 0.1 and 0.2 degrees of additional camber.

Total negative camber with super pro offset lower ball joint is -2.9.

To be fair, I’m not using the camber plate in the way the were designed by Ground Control. However I don’t think this affects the amount of camber available.
