Tarett Brake Line Bracket Stud Kit - 986/996/987/997/981/991/992

This kit is designed to replace the factory brake line bracket bolts with studs, which allows for easier brake caliper installation and eliminates the chance of cross-threading the holes in the wheel carrier. Included are the studs, washers, nuts, and thread locker to replace the M6 bracket retaining bolts on all four corners.

Note that only one bracket stud kit is needed per car.

This kit is designed to replace the factory brake line bracket bolts with studs to
allow for easier brake caliper installation and to eliminate the chance of cross-threading the holes in the wheel carrier. Included are parts to replace eight bolts.
Fits all 996/986/997/987/991 & 981. Depending on the car model, some parts
will be not be used.
Use a small amount of the supplied thread locker between the end of each stud
and the wheel carrier. Insert the stud deep enough so that one or two threads
will be exposed over the top of the nut when the bracket, washer, and nut is
installed, as shown below. Tightened nuts to about 4 to 5 ft-lbs
